Bio Fertilizer

In addition to producing biogas, your bio gas unit also produces a bio-fertilizer that is rich in macro- and micronutrients and is prepared in a way that allows plants to quickly absorb it. By substituting the bio-fertilizer for store-bought fertilizer, you may save money while lowering pollutants. The bio-fertilizer can boost plant growth and disease resistance. As you put additional organic waste into the system every day, the bio-fertilizer is automatically discharged.

How can you use the Slurry as a Fertilizer?

  • As a basic Dressing, you can use the slurry about 1 month prior to planting to prepare the soil for planting.
  • As a top dressing, you can use the slurry during planting up to 2-3 times per week.
  • You can spray as a pesticide.
  • Remember, the Bio-Fertilizer should be diluted before use, simply mix 4 liters of water with every 1 liter of the Bio-Fertilizer.
  • For the grown trees like coconut or Plantain the bio fertilizer can be used directly.

Bio Fertilizer as a compost

  • Compost is created as a result of the aerobic decomposition of organic materials, and farmers have used it for many years. It provides substantial support for the soil structure. Compost is typically added to the soil both before and after planting.
  • Bio fertilizer is created as a by-product of the anaerobic digestion of organic materials. It is a liquid and may be used on plants before and after planting. Further it can be used as a pesticide.
  • Compost takes months to generate, while bio fertilizer is made every day.
  • For proper growth, plants require a variety of elements, such as sunshine, water, mechanical support, organic matter, and crucial nutrients. There are many vital elements in bio-fertilizer produced by your digester, including macronutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium as well as micronutrients like iron, manganese, boron, and others.
  • Bio fertilizer has the advantage of not only adding nutrients to the soil but also a wide range of organic molecules that boost soil biological activity and provide a healthy and fertile habitat for your plants.

The liquid that comes out of the digester can be used as a very effective liquid fertilizer and as a natural insecticide. The quality of this fertilizer can be further improved by adding finely ground/finely chopped banana peels and Albesia/ginisiriya leaves to the digester.
