Start Up the Unit

After studying the value of having a bio gas unit and analyzing the pros and cons of having such a unit you have obtained a bio gas unit. Congratulations on your worthy investment!

  • To operate successfully your bio gas unit need to be 100% leak proofed. For our customers we check it at our QC process.
  • If you obtained the bio gas unit from any other source and if it has any tiny leakage your bio gas system become a fail project. To make it success you need to find out the leak points and eliminate all the leakages.
  • After we install and activate your bio gas unit majority of our responsibility is over. Now the main role is with you. You have to follow the instructions given by us as it is and communicate us the status of your bio gas unit as we have informed you. we are monitoring each unit of the individual customers for the success of your unit.

To have a successful efficient bio gas unit higher attention required on the efficiency and effectiveness of the customers on

Flame test on bio gas
Checking Ph of the bio gas unit

After Activation..

Once we activate your digester with the mixture of cow dung and other necessary ingredients it take few hours/days to produce gas. It depending on the quality of the cow-dung and other environmental factors affecting on your digester. After the activation, you should wait for the production of gas and the lifting of the gas collector. The ideal temperature would be 270C – 300C.

  • First two days of your gas collection, you can not use the generated gas for cooking purpose under normal condition. You have to take off the gas collected on first two days. From third day you can perform flame test on the gas generated from your bio gas unit.
  • Once your bio gas unit pass the flame test you can start feeding your baby digester. You are fully guided and monitored by our supervisor if necessary at this step. Now you can use the generated bio gas for your cooking purpose. It will gradually increase the cooking time while you increasing the amount of food with the passage of time.
  • You have to highly concern about the ph level of your digester. If it is deviate from the perfect level of 6.8-7.2 you have to inform us and get advice to control the ph balance.

What can you put in to the digester

Everything of food scraps from rice, vegetables, fruits, meat/fish, eggshells, cooking oil, and any other non-rotten “wet” food waste.

There is no much maintenance required on your bio gas unit. The only thing owners must do, depending on the size of the system, feed properly, mix the digester and remove the slurry regularly. Annually change the iron wool inside the H2S filter.

For the digestion of your unit to be successful some vital conditions must exist:

  1. An average day/ night environmental temperature should be 270C-300C.
  2. Never exceed the maximum daily input of organic matter.
  3. Keeping the system’s pH in the optimal range.
  4. The system must be feed water with food every day as per the recommended quantity.
  5. Remove the liquid Fertilizer daily.
